Organic Africa


Organic Africa, formally KAITE Initiative (Pvt) Ltd, was established in 2007. The company aims at promoting small scale independent farmers and to contribute to the increased prosperity of Zimbabwe and its people through innovative farming and sustainable ethical wild collection of indigenous species. The model of work of Organic Africa is socially responsible entrepreneurship.

Organic Africa currently Partner with approximately 4000 small scale producers in Zimbabwe (both small scale farmers and landless people). It operates in 11 districts in Matebeleland, Manicaland, Mashonaland East, Masvingo provinces in Zimbabwe.

Products are all organically certified and some are FLO-Cert Fairtrade certified.

The company has changed its name from KAITE to Organic Africa in 2014 due to the growth they have experienced over the past seven years which has made it necessary for them to separate themselves from other companies.
