Additional analysis of the findings of the 2012 UEBT Biodiversity Barometer will be presented. The annual UEBT Biodiversity Barometer provides information on evolving biodiversity awareness around the globe, with this year’s focus including India and seven other countries. It has been recognized as providing information for indicators in the Biodiversity Indicator Partnership (BIP) Aichi Passport.

Additional analysis conducted focuses, for instance, on how people in various countries and age groups learn about biodiversity and is valuable for governments, civil society and companies in their attempts to reach the public on topics linked to biodiversity.
