UEBT Standard Revision – UEBT calls for participation

The Union for Ethical BioTrade is calling for participation from stakeholders in its standard revision process.

Since the development of the first version of the UEBT standard in 2007, numerous audits have taken place. The experiences of UEBT and its members with this framework illustrated that several improvements could be made. Therefore, in 2009 UEBT entered into a first public consultation phase that resulted in a draft revised standard.

This draft revised standard is now open for a second round of public consultation and UEBT is inviting comments from all stakeholders working on BioTrade and/or Sustainable Development issues. For more information on how to take part in the UEBT standard revision process, please click here.
