The Role of Verifiers in the Union

Verification Bodies

Prospective Trading Members that require assistance in the selection of Verification Bodies are invited to contact UEBT.

Verification Bodies interested in conducting third party audits against the UEBT verification system for UEBT Trading Members or candidates shall:

  1. Be correctly accredited under ISO 17065 (new ISO guide 65) and ISO 17021 for specific schemes;
  2. Sign an agreement with the UEBT Secretariat;
  3. Be well trained against the UEBT verification system.

Ecocert SA
Ecocert is an environmental certification body created in France in 1991 and recognized by government authorities in more than 80 countries.
